Super Junior's album sales in the year 2011 reached 350,000 units and Nominated as "Album King"


Asian idol group Super Junior set a new record, becoming the artist with the highest album sales for 3 years.

Singer Awards '2011 'illustrates the artist with the highest album sales according to sales data from Hanteo, and Super Junior 355 900 albums sold between January 1, 2011 and December 27, 2011.

Super Junior's album sales (of 32 singles and all of their albums have been released) for 2011 of 350,000 units. This is the highest number of sales since the 'Singer Award' was established back in 2009. Seo Taiji sold 248,800 units in 2009, while Girls' Generation a new record last year with 309,400 units.

Super Junior's album 'Mr.Simple' is a big factor that memengaruji impressive sales figures of their albums. 'Mr. Simple 'version A only sold 199,300 copies while B sold 53,500 copies and their repackaged album sold 73,900 copies. All of their fifth album sold 326,800 units. On the back of Super Junior, TVXQ sold 230,000 units and Girls' Generation sold 226,700 units.

Two names that come out of the list, INFINITE and IU. Children from INFINITE came in 7th place with 124,100 units sold, while the soloist IU just break the top 10, selling 92,900 units in place to-9.
