Super Junior expresses frustration over ‘SBS Gayo Daejun’ pre-recording mishap

On December 29th, fans were disappointed to discover that SM Entertainment had not informed fans prior to the pre-recording for the ‘2011 SBS Gayo Daejun‘, leaving Super Junior without a crowd support in the audience of such a prestigious event.

The members immediately took to their Twitters to apologize for the incident and also let out a bit of steam over the mishandling of the event.

Leader Leeteuk expressed, “This isn’t right… They should’ve put up notices beforehand, no? I’ll apologize on behalf of them~” Donghae also quickly apologized, “Sorry, ELF…”

Eunhyuk frustratingly tweeted, “This year-end doesn’t mean anything without our ELF… so frustrated!!!!!! Eat food, eat food twice.” The sentiment was retweeted by Leeteuk, Donghae, and Siwon, who added, “Eat thrice~^^ kekeke,” and “Keep eating.”

Siwon wrote in English, “Any way.. you look at it, there isn’t a group more hard-working than us, and there can’t be a group more pitiful than us..damn it! if we’ve done anything wrong, it must be the crime of working too hard, don’t you agree everyone? well just forget it.. what a long day..”

Super Junior's album sales in the year 2011 reached 350,000 units and Nominated as "Album King"

Asian idol group Super Junior set a new record, becoming the artist with the highest album sales for 3 years.

Singer Awards '2011 'illustrates the artist with the highest album sales according to sales data from Hanteo, and Super Junior 355 900 albums sold between January 1, 2011 and December 27, 2011.

Super Junior's album sales (of 32 singles and all of their albums have been released) for 2011 of 350,000 units. This is the highest number of sales since the 'Singer Award' was established back in 2009. Seo Taiji sold 248,800 units in 2009, while Girls' Generation a new record last year with 309,400 units.

Super Junior's album 'Mr.Simple' is a big factor that memengaruji impressive sales figures of their albums. 'Mr. Simple 'version A only sold 199,300 copies while B sold 53,500 copies and their repackaged album sold 73,900 copies. All of their fifth album sold 326,800 units. On the back of Super Junior, TVXQ sold 230,000 units and Girls' Generation sold 226,700 units.

Two names that come out of the list, INFINITE and IU. Children from INFINITE came in 7th place with 124,100 units sold, while the soloist IU just break the top 10, selling 92,900 units in place to-9.

Super Junior "Mr.. Simple" Will Be Ending Song for 'Tsubo Musume'

Super Junior "Mr.. Simple" has been selected for use as an ending song for the Japanese TV show!

On December 28, Avex Entertainment revealed, "'Mr.Simple' will be used as new songs in January 2012 for ending TBS TV program, 'Tsubo Musume'."

'Tsubo Musume' will air every Wednesday night featured two interesting angles. The first brings the popular girl group or as a guest announcer for the talk show while the second feature to introduce pop culture and entertainment-related information.

Although the program late at night, this event has had a fairly large fanbase that follows. "Mr.. Simple" will be used as the ending theme for the first time on January 11, 2012.

Super Junior’s Siwon and actress Kim Yoon Seo deny dating rumors

Rumors have surfaced online about how Super Junior’s Choi Siwon is in a relationship with actress Kim Yoon Seo.

On December 9th, a source revealed to Star N Financial News, “Super Junior member Choi Siwon and actress Kim Yoon Seo are in a relationship”.

The two met back in September through their KBS drama, ‘Poseidon’. According to the source, they got close during the course of the shoot, and began dating 2 months ago.

In response, representatives of both Siwon and Kim Yoon Seo’s agencies have denied the rumors.

Siwon’s agency told Mydaily, “The relationship rumors with Kim Yoon Seo have popped up out of nowhere and are absurd. It is definitely not true… They were friendly with one another while on set, that is probably why [that person] thought that.”

Yoon Seo’s agency stated, “Kim Yoon Seo is currently filming so we haven’t been able to confirm with her, but they were close on the set, which is probably how the staff on the set misunderstood.”
